Free seminar: Controlling exposures to prevent occupational lung disease
Monday 21st August – Antrim
Tuesday 22nd August – Craigavon
Members may already be aware of the excellent work of the Northern Ireland Safety Group (NISG), which for 60 years has been promoting Safety in the Workplace. The NISG is run by dedicated Safety Professionals, each from varied industrial backgrounds, voluntarily giving up time to present an array of Safety events.
NISG in conjunction with the British Occupational Hygiene Society have organised a free seminar on occupational lung disease, which can occur in most industry sectors and is caused by a wide range of agents, from biological organisms through to dusts, fumes and vapours.
The seminar is particularly suitable for those responsible for managing workplace health risks.
